Plato's Closet is back in Fayetteville and they're having their 21st Annual Bag Sale to raise funds for The Whaley Center! The proceeds from this sale will go directly to support the museum's programs and exhibitions. What exactly is Plato's Closet and how does it function?
Plato's Closet holds an annual sale of clothes and household items that benefits the Whaley Center. The sale is open to the public and takes place on Saturday, January 20 between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The sale features clothing for children, men and women, bedding, homewares and other accessories. There is also a large selection of books, DVDs and music CDs.
The proceeds from Plato's Closet will be used to fund the Whaley Center's programs and services which promote education, art and culture. This includes concerts and exhibitions as well as lectures, classes in creative writing, dance, photography, sculpture, film-making and more Access to collections and archives.

Plato's Closet's annual bag sale will take place in the Whaley Center on Saturday, April 15 between 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. The public is welcome to come to the event and will be able to browse racks of off-the-rack and designer bags with reduced prices. The Whaley Center will be the sole beneficiary of all profits from the sale.
How Much Does it Cost to Shop at the Bag Sale?
